FAQs

Q. I have a $250 deductible on my comprehensive insurance plan, so do I have to pay for the repair myself?

A. In most cases, absolutely NOT! Most insurance companies would much rather pay for a repair than to have to pay for an entire windshield replacement, so your entire deductible will be waived for the repair.

Q. Do I have to pay now and wait to be reimbursed by the insurance company?

A. No, we will handle all of the insurance billing for you and there will be no out-of-pocket expenses for you, now or in the future.

Q. Will my insurance premiums go up after making a rock chip or crack claim with my insurance?

A. No, your insurance premiums should not change at all. Again, insurance companies would rather pay to repair a windshield than to pay for an entire windshield replacement, so even though a claim will be put on file with your insurance company, it is more from an informational perspective, in order to protect themselves against the filing of multiple claims for the same job(s) and preventing insurance fraud.

Q. How long will a repair take?

A. Most rock chips will take an average of 20-30 minutes to repair, while some cracks may take a little longer. With our FREE mobile service to most areas, whether at your home or office, the repair can be done at your convenience, so that the timeline will have a minimal effect on your busy schedule.
